starting from  June 24 to June 27, 2010, Hong Kong held the Asia’s Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Fair (AFJAF) at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). This high profile event was reported as one big event in the jewelry industry. There, one of the designers Philippines, Bea Valdes new exhibited , body Jewellery.

During this jewelry which we know it is a jewel in a small shape, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, hair jewelry, or rings. However, in the event AFJAF, jewelry designer from the Philippines, Bea Valdes, who for four consecutive years participating in this event provides a unique and distinct touch to the jewelry. This year, Bea Valdes showing Ophelia.

Ophelia is a form of work is rich in details such as clothes made of Swarovski Elements. Crystal grains are used Bea Valdes made of Swarovski which this year using the theme of Serenity, which sounded romantic theme for 2010/2011. The designers use a blend of organic crystals Crystal Mosaic White and light effects from Crystal Rocks.

“I intend to create jewelry that gives the effect of flowing water and ice crystals, a simultaneous reflection of the momentum and permanently,” explained Bea. Bea Valdes creations will be demonstrated also in the Accessories Circuit in New York in August, Porte de Versailles Fair in Paris, in September 2010, and a special demonstration by Swarovski in Shanghai, in November.
