legging-chooseLeggings still be a dress option for this time, because this clothes can be easily paired with any outfit. At creative field companies, their employees even allowed to wear leggings. If wearing leggings can make you express yourself, why not?

The problem is, how to choose the leggings that best suits for your body shape? Keep in mind also that the leggings are not pants. So, you should not combine leggings with a shirt which does not cover your bottom.

If you’re just going to buy leggings, black leggings will always be a classic choice that anyone can use. But there are some other factors you can consider.

Color. Dark colors such as plum color (dark purple), brown, and copper colors, can be slimming, and also will give classics style like black. These colors are also more fun and unpredictable, according to Sharon Oats from FocusOnStyle.com. Leggings with colors other than black is also quite easy to find.

When you combine leggings with shirt, make sure the color is mutually supportive. Colors which blend into singlr color will give the taller impression for the body.

Texture. Leggings that show the texture, whether it’s patterned, knitted, or tattered accents, will add “weight” to your feet. Denim leggings, despite being trend, can not be worn by everyone.

Length. Most leggings have half-calf length, as long as 7/8 pants (Capri pants), or slightly above the ankle. If you choose as Capri’s length, make sure that does not fall on the biggest part of your calf. Conversely, the good length of legging  is when it falls at the narrowing foot. However, for you who have large ankles, try wearing long leggings below the knee to distract attention from the ankle.
